Gotta love the panhandle!!!

Small place this earth ! My wife is from Pampa, her grandfather owned a auto salvage yard - Pampa Auto & Salvage. I have pictures of it from the fifties hanging in the garage. Did you partake in nourishment from "THE CONEY" ?
I learned the true meaning of BLACK ICE driving up there in the winters.
OH, they were of the LEE ROY McBride clan.

The 'Coney' is still here and running fine. The brother owners sold it several years ago. I can't say that it has ever been one of my favorites though!:eat:
 
monte always mentions the coney, allsup's (for their fried burritos) and dire's bbq...

can't say I've had any of em though...lol
