“Forest Service 101 - An Introduction to Forest Service Planning Processes”
Presented in Partnership with the Sam Houston Trail Coalition Saturday, October 2, 2010 – 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Double Lake Shelter

The Sam Houston Trails Coalition (SHTC) represents all trail enthusiasts including: motorized, equestrian, mountain biking, and hiking groups. Their goal is to work in partnership with the Forest Service to improve existing trails and to reach consensus among the diverse interest groups for future trail projects including adding designated equestrian trails. Their efforts will help the FS focus on projects on which the group has reached consensus.
