Yes, there is one in the General Forum, and I don't anticipate this one being much different, but it will be a place where others viewing the forum won't look at our numbers and wonder what's going in that space between our ears.
So as to explain the gap in my miles, in 2013 my wife had a hemorrhagic stroke and for a period of time was paralyzed, didn't know who she was, didn't know who I or her son was, could not walk, talk, eat, drink, read, etc. She had to learn all that stuff all over again. Since she doesn't like me riding without her, I did not touch the bike for 3.5 years. When she was ready to get on it again with no pressure from me (she asked) we started out with little rides, then a little longer, then a bit longer than that, and if you know our history, six months later we established a new SaddleSore certificate; the Atomic 1000. We did over 7,000 miles in her first year back on the bike.
So next year I'll hit the 100,000 mile mark since I purchased this bike, and I will have done it in less than 6 riding years. And yes, I'm still employed full time, so these are weekend and vacation miles.
