I wonder how many bikes you can fit in the basement?

I wonder if many bikes would fit in there without having to be either disassembled or laid over :ponder: Perhaps a fleet of little XR50's?

i would get a good laugh out of one of those doors falling and putting a nice big dent in that car.

It looked like it NEARLY scraped the roof on the pretty Mercedes when they slid it in. I'm guessing your bike can't have a windsield and might need the handlebars pushed down or removed to get in.

Looks like you're really roughing it there...don't forget the marshmellows, hershey bars and graham crackers.

I am thinking at least four dirtbikes would fit in the space of the car. Strapping them down would keep the handlebar height down to the roof level I bet.....

So, swing by here with it and lets try... we can use my bikes!

The SLK specs I just found list the roof height at 50.4 inches. I think most bikes would be shorter then that... my VFR is listed at 46", a newer GSXR1K at 44.5"... maybe the taller dualsports would have a problem, but most streetbikes would fit fine. Heck, you could probably fit 6 in there (2 rows of 3). The problem would be tying them down so they don't fall over.

WOW.
I hope that it extends a little further out with the car, it's not like you could drive it of its current position.

At least they could use actual pictures of the interior and maybe the same RV for the different exterior shots. One has a tag axle and one doesn't. I count 4 different RV's there. Oh well, fun to look at though.

maybe im just not impressed by a mercedes but i rather have a truck under their.

There are ulltralight aircraft that would break down and tuck under there quite nicely, too!

woo hoo ! and with diesel at almost 4 bucks a gallon, about 4 dollars a mile to operate just on fuel alone.

pass.

but if you can afford that rig fuel prices prolly dont matter a whole lot.

I saw one that had a garage in the back for two bikes. Can't remember who the manufacturer was. It was similar to this one, but it was a better design.

How many digits in the price tag of those first few rigs? Gotta be more than most of us have spent on a home.
