Post your single entry for Photo Assignment #17 - "Sunrise/Sunset Motorcycle" in this thread.

Your photograph has to have been taken between October 20th and Monday, November 2nd midnight.

Also, please refrain from commenting on photographs (yours and others) in this thread until after the winner has been selected. Any comments posted prior to the announcement of a winner will be deleted. Photographs should stand on their own for your interpretation of "Sunrise/Sunset Motorcycle".

You may post only one entry, but you may change it any time until midnight, Monday, November 2nd.

Wow! This is harder than I thought it would be.

PGlaves, your sunset has such graceful lines and such vivid color.

NitroRoo, yours is novel and has such fascinating disparate color.

AndrewT, you found an amazing sky in such a unique place!

M38A1, yours has the look of a fine magazine cover.

But DESERT SKIES, I love yours the best. What an amazing sky capture!

Congrats Desert Skies.....

Now that the assignment is over, am I the only one that sees a cat face in that picture with the clouds? Everytime I look at it I see a cat.
 
Thanks everyone for the comments. Guess I was lucky that weather was rolling in on my way to work one day when this contest got kicked off.

I'm out on the road right now on AR/OK/TX and will put the contest together when I get back in Santa Fe this weekend. I already have a theme in mind. :trust:

Although not obvious, this is a sunrise from my current trip (note shadows) on the Talimina Scenic Byway.

Congrats Desert Skies! And for what its worth, I too now see a cat face, but only after it was suggested :)

So whats the next assignment?
 
Desert Skies sent me a private message that he is just too busy to give this contest his proper attention so he asked me to choose again.
