S.T.O.R.M. returned from the summer break this weekend to open the second half of the season at Outlaw Trax. I didn't video very much of the action and what I did was on a small digital camera so these aren't the greatest.

Two Wheeled Texans member Mopower (my oldest) is racing the School Boy class for the first time so here are a some clips with him and one without.

The one without:

In the first clip he hit the first turn in 9th position and in the 2nd clip coming from the first woods section he is now running in 3rd or 4th. :dude: The 3rd clip, Outlaw-Road-Crossing the school boy class is catching the two classes that started ahead of them. Shortly after this clip Mopower overheated and :puke: had to take a DNF. Says next time he will hydrate himself better and will eat a proper breakfast before the race instead of junk food.

Hehe... Thankfully I have not had that pleasure just yet... I will do my best to avoid it. Hopefully he got the helmet off beforehand... :-| Does he do any kind of physical training or just rely on the exuberance of his youth?

The helmet got off just in time. Says it is the best the brakes ever worked on the bike. Bike stopped, he jumped off while removing his helmet, course workers saw him jump off and bike fall to the ground. They ran over to see if he was ok and picked the bike up for him.

No real physical training, just relies on the youth. Says he wants to start running several times a week.

Get him a push mower and let him earn those spare parts... :-P

That's how he is doing it now. Need to get my vacant lot cleared so he can mow it too..............

I used to push my mower all over the neighborhood looking for yards to mow. I'd see the overgrown houses and go up to the door and say, "I'll do it right now for $20 and you won't have to worry about it!" That was a very successful tactic as most folks were pretty lazy and when faced with the easy way out, they took it

most of the people in my neighborhood either have a lawn crew do the job or prefer to do it themselves..... :angryfire

I am the lawn crew. Rhonda won't mow anymore after the unfortunate incident with the self-propelled mower. Leigh would do it for money. Once. Her hair might become unstraightened in the humidity.
