Thought I'd give a shout out to my choice of riding boots. Fly Mavericks.
On our ride yesterday my front wheel kicked up a stick which slapped my left foot pretty good. It was a stinger but eventually went away and I forgot all about it, until I pulled my sock off when I got home. Purple is SUCH a pretty color...I chose the Maverick Shorty because it was the closest to my favorite old HiPoint mx boots I could find and afford. They are stiff in the right places and protect the toes which is what I look for in a pair of boots
