It looks like a direct hit by CAT 4 hurricane Ida. Pile on top the wind, floods, loss of electricity and Covid hospitalizations: evacuation will be tough.

Sending prayers for our neighbors to the east.

Thank God the levees held. All the work folks I know are still not back. LA is an Awesome place but very exposed šŸ˜©
 
Need to keep these people upheld in prayer. Son and crews are still there and will be yet for a while. He sent this video to me of one of his crews that runs his backyard machine. They are helping Entergy and the person speaking is from Entergy. The workers in the blue hardhats are his guys. So far they have been able to restore a lot of houses power and things have been going well. Still a lot of places without power and a lot of work to do though.
