Saturday ride back to Rusk contunued
Silvee in an over the shoulder shot.
Stopping to take a few pictures.
Justin and his 9fiddy
Ki and the only 2 stroke that I saw in the ride. I really would have been nice to have a bike a hundred pounds lighter than my DRZ.
Ki and I got split up from the group. Both of us had a working GPS so
after about 5 minutes we continued on without them. As it turns out
we should have waited 10 minutes because they eventually headed
back the correct way.
About 15 minutes later my GPS lost the track and I had no idea where
I was but Ki kept us on course. Finally I rebooted the unit and reloaded
the track and all was right again.
Made it back in plenty time to set camp and get some BBQ in our
gut before the rain settled in.
Ki breaking camp on Sunday
Maybe this is where I was suppose to go when I checked in?
Harold, Ki, and Justin discussing departure plans with John for Sunday.
I had myself a pretty good ride. The ONLY time I felt I was going down
was in the long stretch of sand on the way back Saturday. I don’t get
much practice in sand around here so maybe I need to head to
Falls county and get some practice in there. Suppose to be some
good sections of sand roads.
Nine Mile Lane was great, I could camp at Beans and ride that stretch
back forth all weekend.
My DRZ ran great all weekend long, never missed a beat.
Once again thanks to everyone involved in putting this together.
