You know how I said at the end of my last entry that I could not find the what-a-burger photos?.......Found'um!
This start is the very next weekend. I rode down to where I ended last Saturdays ride, Mt Enterprise. It was a lot cooler this day, around 42 when I left the house. So it was GREAT riding weather, lower 7o's for the highs.
Gas was higher down there, about 15-20 cents higher.
The "Trail" comes out on Hwy 259 about 3-4 miles south of Mt. Enterprise, runs south for about 1mile and turns back off into the country side.
Because of this, Mt. Enterprise is a very good Starting/Stopping point.
And you know it wouldn't be Texas unless you had some of these.....
And these....
Ok back to the "Trail".
Just a mile or two down the road I found this old church, maybe school, but I think church.
There is the new church in the back ground.
right next too...
down the road...
Here, I was looking for the devil with that guitar.... you know
... cross roads...?!?!
These things are ALL OVER down there. That's way most of these dirt roads are there.
where are we? Here!
Same as the previous Saturday it had rained on Thursday. It made all the green pop and all the flowers pop.
The obligatory self portrait.
This section is not on the track and is not very long, about 1500-2000 yards.
If this doesn't look good to you, you need to check your pulse!
And I have been lacks in getting you this mandatory Texas photo.
Wisteria popping out ....... and killing a few pines.
Out of Garrison down the rail road.
And back to dirt.
Told ya! See these all over...
ok back to the heart racing..
Need a truck?
This section ends day two. I rode back and got home about 4ish this Saturday. The last section to come, but I'll leave you with this obligatory mandatory Texas photo.
