Weathers a mix.... Down low in most towns & on the plains..... Yes.... Its Hot during the afternoon
Up in the hills & mountaiins.... Niiice all day

Next trip up here will be later ... You bet

Motel recommendations so far.....

Parkview Inn in Canon City CO
Very nice 3 bed room for $100 incl cont brkfst with good coffee

Sage Motel in Newcastle WY
Very nice rooms with either 1 queen or 2 full & cont brkfst for $65-70 (we ate brkfst at Donnas Diner so not sure on theirs)

We tried several rooms with A C problems..... & still havin em!!

Eatin establishments so far.....
El Rancho Brewing Co in El Rancho CO on I70 had good pan fried steak & chicken
We really liked Donnas Diner in Newcastle WY for brkfst.... & Wayback Burger was tasty too....
Lisas Western Cusine in Greybull WY had great mexican.... The Uptown Cafe was pretty good for brkfst there

Lunch at Starvin Arvins in Grand Junction is makin up for that

The food was good, but the portions are huge. Lunch turned into "dunch" (dinner and lunch).

The cliffs pic.....do you see the arching shaped section? That has to be the entrance that opens when the Alien aircraft depart and enter!!!!

We're in Montrose tonite....
At the Black Canyon Motel.... Pretty nice place for a reasonable $80 a nite 2 queens....pool & hot tub incl
Gunnison seemed to be booked up
MrgreenGenes has left the building ...
Hes hedded for home.... Its jus Dave an me now....
Im ridin back all the way... Daves hedded for Durango tomorro
