I'm a new member here and not very experienced in ride reports, so this is a quick report on yesterday's ride. I live in New Boston,TX, just a stones throw from Arkansas. As many of you on this forum know, AR has some great roads. I didn't have time to run up to Mena(100 miles away), so I settled for a quick romp through SW AR with my buddy Ray on his VTX 1300. I installed new tires and Progressive fork springs(to complement the Prog Shocks) on my NH Saturday so I had to test them out on some good twisties. I've ridden these roads so many times I don't recall the road #'s. We rode from New Boston to Foreman, went east to Ashdown on a twisty little 2 lane, and caught 32E to Saratoga(after a brief stop at Millwood Lake). We then headed S to Fulton and the Red River then back W through Texarkana and New Boston. A short romp to be sure but 2 hours on a MC ride is worth years of therapy.
