I spied the motorcycle and sidecar a little down the road from the gas station, so it looked like Hotair had made it after all. He made sure that the bike was in the most visible spot heading north and south on Bandera Rd. Everyone admired it as they drove by and I even think I heard some honks for it.
Here's the meeting spot. They had $1.47 breakfast tacos that were delicious and the coffee was good, too. Introductions were made all around as we met with Hotair, Blueberg, MXTaco48, and Toxic Tommie. Breakfast was ordered and eaten quickly so we could begin our ride.
Here are some of the rides:
Blueberg
Pooh Bear and Hunny
Hotair's ride is at the beginning of the post due to his seniority! Blueberg had the map and route basically planned-Old School Road in Bandera and Kerr counties. Off we went, heading north on 16 to Privilege Creek Road. Our first picture spot was a creek area which Mxtaco43 was peer pressured into crossing, but I can tell you it didn't take much effort.

Here's a little cemetary that was tucked off the road. It was in a lovely spot.
We reached a valley that was picturesque.
Cows on the loose. I'm so observant that it took me 2 minutes to realize there were no fences.
Mighty nice folks to post directions for all.
Bummer to find the pavement begins right at Kerr County.
Dan was inspecting licenses and tags that day. Can't believe we had a person out of compliance!
This was calling to me the whole time.
Toxic Tommie's ride:
Mxtaco's ride:
Time to split up. It was great meeting some new guys that we hope to see again.
Hotair, Blueberg, Pooh Bear and Hunny were out scoping the rides here:
Very fun ride and Hunny finally said he enjoyed one with me. That was mainly due to not staying on the pavement the whole time. He also got to ham it up with the young 'uns. He, Toxic Tommie, and Mxtaco were doing wheelies and speeding down the gravel roads! Happy traveling to all and I wish it had more dirt!
