Howdy,

:tab Here are the few shots I got during our recent Burger Bash. Thanks to all that made it out, we enjoyed having you here! Jbay, Stephanie and Matthew were the first to show a little after 11:00am. Then everyone else started rolling in. James Cain showed up with his wife on the bike and they were loaded down with pork chops and homemade deer sausage :eat:

:tab So I have been itching to get an 18-200mm Nikon VR zoom lens for my Nikon D40. Raul and Sandy have one on their D90 and Raul let me borrow it. Most of the following shots were made with it. It is great because I don't have to swap lenses. I have an 18-55 and a 55-200, so the one lens replaces both of mine. Best of all, I can get shots of people from far away and they don't realize I am taking their picture ;-)

:tab (You know you want one! :-P)

:tab As usual, I managed NOT to get pics of everyone  There were quite a few other folks in attendance. Most folks took off around 2:30-3:00pm I think. It was such a beautiful day, they decided to get in some more riding. Pkiser hung around a bit to help with putting away tables and stuff. About 15 minutes after everyone had left, a couple shows up with apple pie! Bob and Donna something... :ponder: We had a nice visit, and the apple pie was great :trust: I ate wayyyy too much.

:tab Around 6:00pm, I got ahold of Casey "Gotdurt". He and some other members of the TORCH group were out riding in the Sam Houston National Forest. We loaded up left overs and headed out to their camping spot to see if we could off load some of the food. We brought pork chops, deer sausage, potato salad, chips and apple pie. Once they started heating up the meat, I could not take it and had to have another pork chop  Beth and the kids headed back before it got too late. I hung out with the folks around the camp fire and we had a great visit. About 11:00pm, it was time to ride back home through the woods. I forgot my jacket liner and my jacket is mesh. It was damp and cool, which made for a cold ride home.

:tab All in all, a great day. Although, I probably put a few extra pounds on from all the eating...

As toddlers, they'd pretend to be a pirate and a princess. It's how I've always remembered them (since I forget people's real names and only remember screen names, I guess I was bound to forget theirs too).

looks like everyone had a good time. I wanted to attend but had some last minute change of plans from the family.

I wish you guys weren't so far away. That looks like just my kind of scene.

Thanks Scott and Beth for having us. We had a very good time.

My daughters names are Angels (in red) and Gisela (in Pink). Angels is more Tomboy and Gisela is all into girly girl stuff. We have both doing TaekWonDo and in order to have Gisela doing sparring we got her a set of pink sparring gear  She looks kick a... cute.

Yes Scott, I want one. I was lurking at the KLX and the XR-R but afer almost droping your KLR form the kick stand, I think the KLR is the tallest I should get.

Make sure your wife keeps up her shooting practice, she may need to break out the shotgun in another ten years or so when the neighborhood boys start hanging around.
;-)

That's easy. They are Future Heartbreaker I and Future Heartbreaker II

Ok, I am thinking NEAR future - much sooner than 10 years. :eek2:

I would of made it down but had a V-Strom-only RTE to attend. :rider::eat::rider:
(It would be bad if the organizer of the RTE skipped out and went to Huntsville instead  )

Sammy enjoyed the whole east Texas thing ...
