A little fall ride around Mansfield

Today was an absolutely gorgeous day, so I took the Strom for a nice little ride around some of the no-man's land between Mansfield and Kennedale, south of Arlington. There are lots of nice, curvy little roads down there - Turner-Warnell, Newt-Patterson, etc. Ninety minutes of cruising for about 45 miles produced some nice fall pictures.

I really need to develop a list of roads around our area to tour on the weekends. 67 and I-20, while speedy, leave much to be desired.

Those pictures are great as, I'm sure, was the ride to take them.

This is hilarious. Texas Motorcycle Roads lists I-20 between Fort Worth and Abilene as "scenic."

They probably got their references backward, actually meaning to describe Abilene to Ft Worth as scenic. If you've just driven to Abilene from Midland --- well, everything is relative, isn't it?

Know the intersection well. I'm always looking for little roads to explore down in that area. By the way, you have nice taste in bikes.
