Selling my 2006 Yamaha WR250f. I'm the second owner and have owned it since 2010. I take it out to Sam Houston about twice per year and putt-putt around on it - it's an amazing bike and way beyond my abilities as a rider. Usual brush scratches and rash, but all original plastics. I keep it on a battery Tender in my garage and start it up every two weeks and ride it around my neighborhood to keep everything fresh and moving. Starts right up each and every time. Never jumped. Never really dropped either honestly.
I've had the fork seals done and keep the oil changed with Amsoil. Has recent front brakes too.
Two years ago, I bought the Trick Dual sport to get it street legal - better to connect trails and I figured I would ride it more. The lights/horn/brake light and turn signals all work and the kit was flawless. I didn't end up riding any more though as I take my Tw200 out when I want to run any errands.
Also have Doubletake mirrors on the bike - and a rear tugger that makes moving it around so easy.
It had some well known upgrades done on it when I bought it taken from the ThumperTalk forums:
YZ ignition timing map
Exhaust baffle removal
Air box mod
GYTR AIS removal kit
YZ throttle stop
Adjustable fuel screw
Bike performs like a YZF, but with the convenience of electric start, lights and a kickstand.
The bike has never let me down. It's amazing everywhere I have taken it. Reliable and needs nothing. Has kickstart as a backup. New battery in 2015. Factory workshop manual and clear title in my name. Message with any questions or more details. Thank you for looking.
