Posting up a couple of pics of the SMR. I am waiting for the other stock body panel to arrive so I can get rid of the orange ones. Here is a taste. Let me know which you prefer, curious as to what every one thinks. Won't change my opinion but I am surprised that the orange seems popular. Don't see it myself, but such is life.

I guess I could run a different one on each side. Might cause a little head scratching.....did I mention I have a Rottweiler intake ordered? Hee Hee.

Need more white panels. White panels will make it faster.

First off, white panels seem to limit LC8 motors to about 8k RPM and of course that won't do. Second, I am surprised folks like the orange better. Hmmmm. I guess I will remain odd.

I like the orange. I’d probably prefer the black if it was matte black like the rest of the bike and didn’t have the graphics. I’m not a big fan of badging or graphics.
 
Nice looking bike! So here's a question for you 950 SMR / 990 SuperDuke aficionados, would it be simple to replace the street version under engine exhaust with the adventure exhaust header pipes? It would be a better look, in my humble opinion. Would performance suffer?

Mitch, there is something wrong with you and those white KTMs? Were you not breast fed as a child, did someone take your puppy? I get the yellow, pink and camo. White is just wrong....LOL
 
I guess the high pipe should work not sure if the frame, oil tank or the swingarms are different. So I couldn't know without that info.

I do love yellow. I love exciting bikes, not boring blend in with the traffic bikes. That's why I turn toward the orange. Life is too short to own boring colored vehicles.
