Another Military KLR...

...has joined our local Military Vehicle Preservation Association (MVPA) chapter. This one (actually a prototype) was never released for military use. The subsequent variation was however. (this has the early prototype tank, funky seat as it was called, and the KLR250 front forks with pivoting headlight) I also heard this is actually a KLR600 since it's pre-'87

Oh, and only 283 miles on it.

Yes. a big sticker at the fuel filler read "GAS"

Back when I was going to school in east TX I attended a few MVPA events. Now I live too far away from any MVPA group to actually attend events.
