Are those trees pointing north? The golf course that I grew up playing uses a tree in a similar shape as their logo, it is pretty appropriate.

That seems like a pretty big park, we were out there over Memorial Day weekend for my wife's family reunion, it was at Hidalgo park.
 
that's only about 1/8th of the park. It also has football fields, baseball fields, skate park, the fishing pond, ampitheatre (under construction)
