I saw this Hand-Built Hack going down the road in Abilene TX. I followed him to a gas station where I asked the rider more questions than the normal human would tolerate. He was quite the adventure rider and by his estimates has logged more than 100,000 miles on his Hack. He is often seen pulling a camping trailer long enough for him to sleep in. He is a local celebrity and has been interviewed by the local TV news stations. He estimates his mpg at 160 on level ground with no wind. Two spare jugs of fuel will allow him to ride all day. There is a car battery that drives an electrical motor in case the hill is too steep or his 5 hp engine fails. All of this without any braking except for engine braking. He also has no idea what ATGATT is.

We met as strangers and departed as fellow ADV Riders.

ANYONE WANT TO RIDE THE WESTERN 1/2 OF THE TAT THIS SUMMER? I MIGHT BE SOLO UNLESS SOMEONE JOINS IN.
