Selling my 1984 Honda XR500R. Bike starts easily and runs great. Has a little smoke on startup and then goes away. Overall great shape for it's age. Does have some road rash... yes, I laid it down in front of my house on the street the night she came home. I hurt my knee (among other things) during that spill, and have not touched the bike since then until this weekend. I put Renthal handlebars on it, replaced the seat cover and a few other things that needed it from laying it down. Rode it around today and it starts and runs great. It does have a slight oil leak somewhere. Nothing horrendous. My plan was to buy the Tusk dual sport kit ($160) and turn this into a street legal dualsport. My injuries have prevented me from doing that. Clear Texas title in hand. Ready to ride like it is. Only asking $1,000.
