$10,500

I am willing to trade for a side by side (UTV) of equivalent value or plus cash to close the gap.

I’m using all my free time riding the KTM690.
This is an extremely capable bike ready for somebody to utilize all its great attributes on and off road.

You can’t find another bike this nice for this price (in my opinion).

2017 KTM Super Adventure R completely dressed for all around adventure with only 11k miles for only $10,500

There’s nothing this motorcycle lacks.
160 horsepower, Cruise control, heated grips, adjustable traction control, various ride modes(off-road ABS & Traction Control or turn them off), full media capabilities Bluetooth/USB/navigation, adjustable suspension, cornering ABS and tons more.

Just completed service: Oil, brake fluid, filters, chain guide etc...

The bike is in great shape.

Upgrades:
KTM full software package
Scorpio Security System
Givi Tank bag
Black Dog Skid plate
Rear mounting plate/removable travel pack
Seat Concepts Seat
Heated grips
Pannier rack
Bark Busters hand guards
1 3/4 Rox bar Risers
Camel foot kick stand
Tall windscreen
Some stuff I don’t remember

I am willing to accept trades on gear to compensate for some of the cost.
Such as:
Wolfman soft bags
Scott’s steering damper
GPS

I’m pretty reasonable so let me know.

Reduced price $10,500. Officially below the trade in offer I received. I’m buying used from personal seller so that’s not available to me.

Priced aggressively to move quick.

Sweet deal, if I didn’t have the 1090 already I would snap this up. Someone needs to get this!

Obviously due to the weather the pictures aren't that great.

Has the bike been dropped? What damage, if any, is there on the plastics, frame and crashbars?

First picture looks like there's significant scratches on crashbars but that could be dirt

There’s a couple minor scratches on the crash bars. The bike is in great shape. The plastics are as well. I have dropped the bike in routine adventure riding. It never went down hard.

If anybody rides adventure and tells you he’s never dropped the bike. That man is a liar.

I can take more pictures if you’re interested.
To be honest, I might pull it off the market. Got the go ahead from the lucky lady to have two bikes and I love this bike.

Keep it. That’s an awesome bike

I’ve decided to keep this bike. I love the new-to-me 690 but there’s still a lot I can do with the 1290 that the 690 doesn’t do as well. Glad nobody let me give it away. Now I have to go apologize to her for attempting to sale her and put some fresh miles on.
By the way her name is Kahdy-em (MAD TV)

I'd have a Corona in the garage with her and apologize. It wont take much of a road ride on the 690 to really appreciate the big bike again.

I’m glad you’re keeping it. Maybe when you do decide it’s time to sell I’ll be in a spot to buy.

Good for you! Also agree with the comment on the dropped adventure bikes - I only had one I didn't drop (but I only had that one a couple months). I look forward to the first scratches on the crash bars so I don't have to worry about it... There's so many of these big bikes for sale, nearly new with about 1000 miles and a scratch - you know the tip-over scared the rider...

Or picking it back up....

You won't regret keeping it. I too had many internal debates with myself about letting my 1090 go to go smaller. The reality is, I push my 1090 hard on enduro type terrain and for every one time I occasionally come across stuff I really just can't do on my 1090, I have a big smile during the other 9 scenarios where I feel my 1090 is better suited for the job.

If anything, buy yourself a 250 or 450 proper enduro at a later date (or now with all these steals coming to market) and take that on those really wild trips the big girl will be no fun for.

Every time i ride my 1290 Adv R, i have a hard time getting the smile off my face. I really enjoy the bike a lot! I to have a 690
enduro, and i like this bike as well. I have been on the fence about the 790 to, but feel i have both ends taken care of with both my bikes. KTM's
ROCK!
