Re: Spring Burger Bash - Huntsville, Tx., Saturday 04/05/2014 - 10:00am-5:00pm
And now for some pics...
Where the magic happens
Some of the "fixins" that go with the burgers
I set out some stuff that needed to find a new home, and I managed to get ride of quite a bit, but somehow a few "extras" found their way from someone else's garage to mine
Camillo "cdc" and James Cain
Lynn and Jeff "4Jranch"
We had 19 kids running all over the place - no fights, no injuries, and no one got in trouble for anything... ALL DAY
and the hot dogs were a big hit with them
Dusty and Jennifer Jones, friends from Church
Zachary... a TOTALLY full of little boy enthusiasm and energy!!
Camillo "cdc", Steve "desmo", Hardy Baker, Dave "Cagiva549" and Jeff(?)
Dave Smith - Friend from Church and local BMW rider that has attended numerous Pie Runs and Burger Bashes
James Cain and Steve "RockmanTX"
Jack "JacknTexas" and Tina Cope
Beth's Dad and Paula Conway (friend from Church and Zachary's Grandmother)
Erma Dowden, friend from Beth's old banking job in her life before kids
Keith "Dragwn"... NOT smiling
Jeff "Jhansen" and his wife Kelly
Christi (local friend) and my Dad
Our fleet of bikes (includes an XR 50 hidden behind Snoopster's BMW on the end)
Lilly knows a good burger when she tastes one!!
Most folks started heading out sometime around 2:00ish... but we had more coming in later. This is Mtnbikeboy and his wife on their Transalp
A better shot of them. She wound up with one of James Cain's give away jackets and a pair of gloves from Snoopster. I tried to give them as much stuff as I could but they were running out of room on the bike
Posers...
Rylan and Christian Winston (live in the house behind them) and Daniel (lives in my house...
)
As usual, there were a lot of other folks in attendance whose pictures I did not take. I was having to juggle cooking duties with taking pictures, visiting with folks and keeping an eye on all the kids. We had quite a few folks from our neighborhood come over as well. The weather turned out to be perfect. We never got any rain and the temp was in the mid 60's with no humidity. It was really nice getting to see everyone.
I hope to do another Burger Bash in the fall, usually Sept or Oct. But if all goes according to plan, I hope to be studying for the Professional Engineering exam which is in October, so I might have to schedule a Burger Bash a little later than normal.
