The Texas Mile is coming up fast, Oct 24-26 at Chase Field in Beeville.

Is it possible to just attend as a spectator for this? And what kind of access would one have as a spectator? I'm thinking if the weather was nice this would be a great venue to shoot some pics. :photo:
 
Scott . You can attend as a spectator. We had a blast the time we went. We rode from my house down there .

It certainly is possible. A weekend spectator pass is $25 at the gate, preferably cash. Same price all weekend. Kids 12 and under are free. Details are under the Spectator link at http://www.texasmile.net/rulesregulations.php

There are spectator viewing areas at the start line, along the length of the mile and near the finish line. Spectators have free run of the start grid and the pits. There are food concession stands and T-shirts for sale.

I always have a great time, watching the runs, talking with participants and spectators.
