It’s such a cool looking bike. I just can’t wrap my head around the fact that the wet weight is just ten pounds less than the FJ09 I just got rid of. It doesn’t look like it should weigh that much.
 
But compared to a Super Tenere it is light..[emoji24][emoji16][emoji37][emoji37]

They don't LOOK that heavy, weird.
 
I wonder what the difference in weight is between the T7 and the KTM 690 with a rally kit. That’s what this bike looks like to me.


Starting at a stock weight of 345 lbs or so, I would guess a 690 + rally kit would likely end up 50-70 lbs lighter than a T700.
 
The owner is probably just riding from place to place showing that thing off. It looks awesome to me!

Just rode from Austin through New Mexico, Colorada, Utah, Wyoming, Montana, Idaho and Washington. Great bike.
