Friend of mine is looking for a 500-1100cc cruiser for a bobber build. Not really brand specific. He's looking to spend $1000 or less, projects are okay, within reason. Must have title. Located in Stephenville, but will travel around DFW area.

Let me know what you have, and I'll relay the message to him.

Thanks in advance!

I've got a 93 Honda VT1100 I'll let go for $1000. I never ride it.
Black, windshield, small hard bags, fairly new tires, Mustang seat, stock pipes with 25k miles. ( the Mustang seat is leather & you might be able to re-sell it for some bucks)
I have the title in my name. Tags/inspection are out, battery is shot, carbs probably need cleaning, but...
if you squirt some starter fluid down the air box, and jump it off, it will start and run.

I'll try to drag it out tomorrow and take some shots of it.

I need to do that anyway. cuz I've been thinking of donating it to "Cars for Kids".

I'd just as soon have some cash if you/he is interested.

I uncovered it, and it's still there!
Kinda dusty, but if you can make it out from the background clutter, it's still a good looking bike.
Black! Great color for a bobber project.
Also it has Progressive shocks out back and Progressive springs in the forks.
And I also put Fat Boy handle bars on it.
Looked in the tank and there's no rust, although it probably needs a good flushing.

Can't touch Y!S's price but Blaze has a honey of a 750 for sale here ( LINKY ) and it might be more interesting meeting her than Y!S.

Just sayin' y'unnerstan.

Awesome! To be honest, I'd buy that gem if I had the extra money.

I just woke up, but I'm about to head to work, and I'll show him when I get there.

That's a clean bike, but a not out of his price range for right now.

I got your message and will call this evening sometime. Until then if you see your bud, relay some info...

I got the bike outside and hosed it off. Still a dang good lookin' scooter.

I pulled and flushed the tank and put some new gas in. Jumped it off and it runs rough. Definitely going to need carb work if he's up to it.

One of the carbs has a stuck float and is overflowing. If I turn the gas on and fill the carbs and turn it back off, I can get it to idle fairly well. It'll run a little if I plug the overflow hose but it soon chokes down and quits.

And it will need a battery.
