I'm looking for a harbor-freight style fold up 4x8 trailer. Yeah, I know I can just buy one, add decking, wheel chocks, tiedown points, upgrade wheels and bearings, etc. But I'm lazy and want someone else to do that :)

I'm in Austin but willing to drive. Who's got one that's just sitting and collecting dust? I'll buy it, making room for you to get one more bike in that garage.

I've got one in Kerrville with a spare tire. I need to hook up lights to it again, as I stole them to use on another trailer. PM me if you're interested.

I believe this is the one I have.

Fwiw I have one and I'd really reccomend looking for a solid body metal trailer.

The folding ability was a big selling point to me, but to do so you have to get under it and take out 6 or more bolts which is a pain. Also, I had the wiring harness corrode completely within a month. Once I determined the folding ability was pretty sub par, I decided to put a wheel chock I had on the front. That eliminates the folding for me, but I'm alright now.

Great size for bikes, it handles pretty well, and I use mine all the time, just figure more info is always helpful. Good luck! If you have any questions on it, let me know. And you are very smart to look for one that's already built! That part sucked...

Thanks for the advise and experience. This'll need to live with me in Austin, so if it doesn't fold, then I can't really keep it here. I guess like most trailers, it'll stay parked about 95% of the time - with sporadic bike / furniture / lumber hauling every now and then.
