Let it be known, my 14" comp 2 HS can is black just so you know I'm open minded - they didn't have it in RED, so, I chose the 2nd best color.

Strangely enough . . . I used to resent the "Mega Bandit Thread" I'd wonder "who are all these clowns taking up so much space?"

Then I wanted to replace my BMW K1100RS, on which the ABS had gone out, with another ABS bike to complement my non-ABS Sprint. The more I read here and in magazine articles about the Bandit w/ABS and the price, the more I liked it.

Now I'm one of those clow...er, very discerning riders :mrgreen:

Mark, regardless of the color, welcome to the bandit team. It is an awesome all-around performer that we all seem to enjoy. I'm not sure why we all talk about how cool the low buy-in was since all we end up doing is spending lots of money making an already great bike better. :mrgreen:

Perhaps at the MegaThread rally, we could set up a paint booth for those handicapped without red and spray on some extra HP for a nominal fee.
