The AMA is celebrating 100 yrs and covering some history in their magazine. I'm amazed at the very early bikes 1900's, teens, 20's 30's the speed records, the board track speeds, the endurance runs just to name a few of the venues. Some of these early machines were not much more than bicycles and they went faster than I've ever been on a bike. You see the bikes at shows and maybe read a fact or two but it's just a tiny bit of what really went on.
