HOUSTON: Clear Lake Bike Night Wednesday

Looks like maybe we'll get lucky and they won't be back for the rest of the evening. :rider::eat:

A few of us are planning to ride up to Yankee's Tavern in Carlos for lunch this Saturday.

So far the plan is to ride to Brookshire via toll roads and I-10, then head up 362 to 3090 to get to Yankee's.

After lunch we'll ride to Pie In The Sky in Conroe for some desert. Then loop around East through Baytwon on the way back.

The return route is subject to change based on weather.

For anyone wanting to join, we'll meet at Rudy's at 8:30, kickstands up at 9:00.

Chad

Watching the weather, but planning on it. Gonna have to check my clutch tonight though; felt a bit "notchy" riding home Wednesday night.

I'm planning to go, but we should check to see the deal on 45N before we commit to BW8 and $4.50 in tolls. Yankees is open, but due to the order this week, only the outside is open for dining, Also - there is a PITS in Magnolia - https://g.page/pieintheskymagnolia?share . Maybe we can head there for a change?

If something changes, I'll post.

All the negative waves.....45 South is closed in one small area between Broadway and I-610. Get off at Belfort and take Telephone past Stubbs and then back on.. Easy-peasy..
Not sure where 3090 is....

Thanks for leading us on a really nice ride yesterday, Chad. Four bikes, 5 souls left Rudy's, rode up to Yankee's in Carlos, and met up with a couple other members for some good food and conversation. Good to see the the elusive Ninja again, and having, Jfink escort us back to Conroe for some Pie in the Sky goodness. It was a bit hot, but lots of fun anyway. Hope everyone made it home in one piece. Thanks to Anna for the pics 🙂

Good meeting up with you guys. Jeff @jmn showed up at my driveway before I left, but I couldn't get my pants on fast enough, to catch him before he left. I know...TMI. Also I looked in my mirror after we left Yankees, and a rider came up behind me, out of nowhere. Turns out it was a friend @GSTJOHN on his Indian FTR (that's a nice looking bike) just out for a ride. He followed me through the forest.

The pie was great, so few places offer banana cream. Hopefully we can do this again soon.

Good ride, nice to see Joe and Jeff. It did get a little warm on the way back... I'll know to avoid Plum Grove in the future.

On to this Wednesday, how about Joe Lee's?

Yuck on Plum Grove, have they fixed that detour yet? Apparently not. If you come up this way again, I can certainly offer a little benevolent advice on routing, that I would not feel at all slighted, if you did not take. I offer advice all the time that no one takes! It's one of my key strengths. :)

We won't be making it this week, so catch you on the next one.
