Standing helps my shoulder/arm among other things. You'll frequently see me doing the meercat stand through town to stretch!
I'm old and looking at 1250s seriously. However my mind is young and steering me toward 1290s. My body is old but I can still wrench. The 701e in the shop is starting to get pissy 'cause I look at other girls. My FJR has given up and just wants a man who sleeps at home every night.
Oh, and did I mention my bad back?
Old sucks. Old with a shop full of bikes, not so much.

Standing,...no one mentioned the greatest benefit, cooling it . 96 F and high humidity, here we come.
I ride my truck with A/C when it gets that hot. I don't find it fun anymore past about 93°.
