Moto GP Valencia test

Marquez finished 4th fastest. Lots of comments like, "What did you expect" came from Puig, Bagnia, Bezzechi, Martin, etc. Nice to see him learn a new bike so fast. Luca Marini was 10th on the new RC213V, so that seems hopeful for Honda, but they are way off of the Ducs. Even Rossi said that Marquez would now be a "threat" to the other ducatis. 2024 might be fun. Looking forward to Sepang test to see where we are headed. The basic thought is the 2024 Ducati will be a very mild improvement to the 2023 fully developed bike Marquez, Marquez, Diggi and Bezzechi are all riding. So there might be a little competition out there amongst the Ducatitisti! Better racing is good for all of us fans.

P.S. Marquez can't speak about the ride until after the new year when the final parts of his Honda deal are terminated. He sure was smiling in the pit box though. Alex was 6th fastest, so Gressini is going to be a contender this year as well. They have won races the last 2 yrs, so the satellite ducati teams are pretty powerful, Pramac, of course, is also running fully supported 2024 factory bikes, so it is on like Donkey Kong, I am excited to be witnessing the rise of competition in the MotoGP world. Aprilia and KTM are also pretty competitive these days and Honda/Yamaha will be back now that they have concessions to develop motors and such during the season. That helped Ducati, KTM and Aprilia all get close to even footing in MotoGP, should work for Honda as well. Plus they brought in some former Ducati folks to help them be more "European" in their pursuit of wins. Like I said, this is good for all of us fans.
