On a trip. No bike, but pretty scenery and wonderful bike roads.

Looks like a perfect time to visit. My last trip there was when I rode out and the Mrs flew into Portland. We rented a car to get around and see the sights. I then continued riding up thru Washington and back home while the Mrs flew back but not before finding the Columbia clothing outlet store. šŸ˜¬

The high yesterday, according to our car thermometer, was 52*. We could see Mt. St. Helen in the distance and it's also covered in snow. Adventuring up today.

Awesome nice pics! Being in north Texas itā€™s easy to forgot what geographic beauty and nature looks like (nonetheless livable temps). Iā€™m pretty jealous of people that get to ride in the pnw.

Thanks for the pics, brings back some great memories. I and a buddy rode the Trask Mtn 2-Day ISDE qualifier in '86. Loved the scenery etc so much I and my wife flew back to Portland when she got a vacation later that summer and we rented a car to do what y'all are. 1100 miles in just one week, so much to see out there. This spurs me to plan another trip.

We're heading in that direction. I was there in July of this year and wanted to share it with my wife.

The Oregon coast is beautiful, but too cold for the average person to swim even during the Summer months. One of the benefits of losing my memory is seeing it again for the first time.
Haystack Rock and other beaches.

I love the view just around that corner down onto the beach. It has to be one of the prettiest on the west coast.

Along the Columbia River Gorge in the Dales region of Washington.

I hate when the snowflake lights up on the dash.

One last day of hiking. We made the most of it by hiking to waterfalls.
