Post your Day Rides Here!

On the road to Big Bend . . . . . . . . Louisiana:

Took the Scrambler out for about 190 miles yesterday around Coldspring, Point Blank, Cut & Shoot and Waverly. Basically just out enjoying the weather, hitting up some good old roads and exploring some new ones. Stayed mostly on pavement today because the roads were still a little soft and my tires are a bit too road biased for those conditions… and probably my skill level. :)

Well I took their word on conditions after the rain, lol. Really the "dry" parts were awesome, but it had several extremely difficult swamp areas. First one I met on 1st lap took my friends advice and went in a sink hole. Mud literally to top of front tire. Took 4 guys to drag it out. Cost me front fork seals, lol! Picture with all us dragging my poor bike out is mine, close up picture is another lucky guy!

@Mudclod I see you found Ace and Moyer! They look good. I wanted to make this but just too far from my place, lazy in old age!

Took this old ZZR1200 back to a customer today. Front steering bearings replaced , fork oil changed , Throttle mister adjusted to function properly.
Afterwards rode the BMW R1250RS to homedepot for electric dimmer switch.
What a refined motorcycle to the ZZR.
Both very quick machines

Karst Loop trail between Rambo Rd, Beaver hollow and Van Winkle Hollow…7.something intermediate miles and my butt hurts! 🤣

Hard tails can have that effect. 😁 Shock seat posts used to be a thing. Love the thinking man/contemplation pose pic.

Great photos as usual. 34 mpg normal? Is that twisting hard or regular riding.
