Hey—made it out to SHNF today, Kelly’s Pond parking area. To say things were muddy was an understatement. Had a blast all the same but the kids definitely struggled with the clay mud.

Which trails tend to be drier/less muddy?

Saw a few folks leaving as we rolled in, looked like they were drenched in chocolate milk 😂

Just like the whoops, sand in summer, and roots. This time of year mud is hard to avoid. But Woodpecker out of KP is he worst! And KP trail to TH208 not much better. I rode out of Eastside Thursday, was wet but most had go rounds, not all tho! Stay off ZEBRA when wet! You can run Fern to Boy Scout and back on Sandy, not too bad, The mud sure beats the foot deep sand and dust in summer time to me! The trick is to stay off the clay like stuff.
