What does a KLR really need

Actually, I think they are assembled there since '01? I don't think they actually manufacture the parts. Could be though... No problems with my KLR (02). It is not like the bike consists of rocket science... :lol2:

During my Air Force days, we flew out of U-Tapao, Thailand briefly. One day we had a driver take us to Bangkok for shopping. No one seemed to recognize the presence of motorcyclists on the road. Need to pass? No problem - no cars coming the other direction, only bikers. Right-of-way seemed to be based solely on gross weight. Still, there was great sightseeing, great food, lots of pretty girls, and debauchery to boggle the western mind. Interesting place to visit, but no place I'd care to call home.
