Mckenzie closed up in Madisonville, at least I think so. Property shown for sale Facebook. But I'm a Mckenzie fan when open. You prefer them over MacKenzie's?
Definitely, at least the one here in Huntsville. They were much better when they were in their original location. After they moved to the current location, quality has been hit and miss for years. Our local HEB has a great BBQ place in the store. We get brisket and turkey there all the time. You prefer them over MacKenzie's?
Edit, owner got back to me, still OPEN!Mckenzie closed up in Madisonville, at least I think so. Property shown for sale Facebook. But I'm a Mckenzie fan when open.
You were in my neck of the woods .Just got back from dual sporting the back roads in and around the Shiner area. Started in Shiner and wound up a few miles north of Waelder, then back through Moulton and back to Shiner for a sack lunch at the park. After that I ended up west of Yoakum then made my way back to Shiner. 152 miles total with about 70% gravel, 25% one lane paved and a very small portion on the highway. I don’t chart a course or track where I’ve been. I just head out on the closest gravel road and take it to the next gravel road. I must say that the D606/MT21 tire combo is amazing on the little XT. I’ve made this trip several times and it puts a smile on my face each trip.
Oh yes. Gonzales county actually has great Gravel roads. Most are packed well and with smaller gravel sizes to easier to ride. We actually have a farm in Shiner that I use as baseYou were in my neck of the woods .
