Apparently those 30 gallon tanks get tired and need occasional naps!
Is all that "wetness" on tire fork oil?
The tank wasn’t the problem. My leg was about a foot short for my turnaround maneuver.Apparently those 30 gallon tanks get tired and need occasional naps!
Yeah the spare bike we left back in the trailer has them. Cutting the water bottle into a hook got it done. Hopefully the mud is behind us.Y'all need seal savers. Full length ones. Especially with that mud. They really do work.
I’m really liking the front wheel setup.Everyone still happy with 18" front tires? And thanks for the pictures and story telling!
hahay'all are at work and we are out here living the dream!
Wow. Just wow.Where were we…..oh that’s right, y'all are at work and we are out here living the dream! We were going to crush some pavement but I eyeballed a powerline that looked to have all the makings of putting us in the rough, back to where we once belonged.
Electrified, we seemed to be on the Yampa Bench now and I was thinking, what the heck is a Yampa?
Sounds like something from the first Star Wars movie, the real first one. Yampa is an edible plant along the river edge that the Ute Indians ate. There you have it, probably code for peyote. I am the walrus.
Doesn’t feel like Colorado anymore, feels super isolated, and we haven’t seen a subaru in over 4 hours. Winning. But what is Grape doing?
Power line was super cool, played out after about 8 miles, we transitioned into our next dirt. May have been some mail hauling.
Wow. Just wow.
Will fairness ever exist?
You couldn’t pay m…..actually you could.Probably not big bike friendly, lol. Looks fun.
Lol. Only way I'd hit those boulders on big bikes. You couldn’t pay m…..actually you could.
In total agreement.I could probably manage it on my old DR650. I don't think that'd be any fun on the Africa Twin!
