Wyoming BDR

I did notice a sign at the highway 14 intersection with fr 17 that there is on going road work on 17 . Lots of erosion damage on the south end of it , haven’t been on the upper end this year .

I think this is called the rim trail section of the WBDR it starts near Atlantic City. It was rocky with some sandy sections with big ruts that could swallow a Volkswagen. In other words loads of fun.

That section was a blast!

It’s way past time , probably tomorrow night . We’ll know saturday morning . I marked trail in the off road section of a mountain bike race for Saturday this morning . My section is all low lands so if I want to play in the snow I’ll have to ride up the hill . I rode the 9,000 plus section of the mountains yesterday , not a part of the bdr route , Awsome ride too except for the traffic jam .

well it really wasn’t that bad a traffic jam . Pretty sure all that will be covered if it does snow .

A dusting in the high country this morning 8,000 and up . Doesn’t look like more than a couple inches and may melt today .

Awesome, and thanks for sharing. Love his sound effects, LOL. Brings several pucker moments to mind that I've has over the years, and that same thought of "is this trail ever going to end?!".

directly above my grip at the top of the hill is a little spec of light colored road that shows up in the picture , the picture I took on sept 15 was from that point , went off cow trailing today trying to get out on a point but turned back , from up high I can see where I want to get to but when your down on the ground it’s pretty tough , only tracks I was following out there were cow trails and not very good ones either . Gotta save some for next year .

I need to be out on that point on a nice clear day , with the battery charged in my camera .

forgot to add , one of many side trails up to the Wyoming bdr section 7 that I get to ride up and down with no traffic

First pict is Black mtn overlooking trapper creek , second is devils leap from red basin . Both are BLM land . Black mtn trail intersects FS 17 in the private property section several miles south of where 17 ends at us 14 .

Wyoming is looking good this time of year , been in the 20 s for several nights in the high country lately ,
