Baggers?

Very nice, congrats. Lovethat color, arrest-me red, lol!

They are great folks up in Denton. I bought my Beemer there and they've done all the tires etc on my Strom and Gixxus. Excellent service department.

Thanks to everyone who gave me some insight. I think I would have been happy with the XC, RK, too but I am partial to Hondas. It looks good, and should have Honda Quality so I'm good.

Wife said it was the most comfortable ride she has been on and I gotta agree. We rode about 70 miles today on FM917 and FM157 and some freeway too. Nice and smooth ride.

The dealer actually had one of these on the floor. I didn't care for it. Bags were weird and small and definitely less protection than the F6B and maybe even a RK with deflectors on it. They had a used California that was nice but had too many miles for me. 11.5 for a F6B with 4500mi. Seemed like the better choice.

I should also note that I had a "sign" to sell the RT. I was actually suppose to meet the sales guy Thursday but I go out to the garage and the battery on the RT was dead. 2nd one in 2 years and the dealer stated they put one in there in 2014 when I bought it? Add $450 for routine service (I had a maintenance agreement) and I won't be missing the lil' roundel much.

WOW! That's an awfully big bike for such a skinny little man! Just kidding, I remember where your heart was when you were struggling with injured hands, but you were still figuring ways to get around on two wheels when you shouldn't have been. It's about time you got a bike as big as you! Looks like a great choice considering you regularly carry a passenger, too. Many happy (s)miles on that keeper!

Yeah 800+ pounds is pretty big. I call her Godzilla for a reason. The nice thing about the F6B is that it already comes with fairing and bag protectors just in case.... Funny you remember the wrist injury. Another selling point was the clutch pull on the F6B was lighter than the RK or XC and the F6B comes with adjustable levers.

I anticipate the Interceptor and F6B will be keepers for awhile but we'll see...
