$52,000(!) msrp for a Harley?! What the deuce?

They have always been especially proud of those EVO models.

They'll sell everyone of them, even after a stealership markup of 10-15% over MSRP

Obviously I'm not a H-D fan even so that thing is ugly! $52,000, get real. But as Tuco says, they'll probably sell them all.

Yea, not sure how I could ever justify $52k on a bike. Still can't bring myself to that much in a car.

I doubt there will ever come a day when I find myself needing to spend $52,000 on a motorcycle to be happy. Not even if I had won that $1.35b Mega jackpot.

And even if I did, it wouldn't be that CVO.

If I were to spend that kind of money on a bike, it'd be a rally bike. At least the performance would sort of begin to justify the price.

That's out of control.
But when an F150 can be optioned out to over $70k and a dozen eggs are $5 it's a sign of the times.

Right with y’all.
Can’t justify buying an over valued item with exorbitant markups over msrp.
I‘d rather invest if, I had the money, in a personal supermoto/rallycross track.

Just me or does it appear bags and tour pack are smaller than earlier models - at least to me luggage looks smaller than that on my 13 FLTRU.

Well...I like the color scheme. Now, the Road Glide model is a different story; I've never cared for the looks of it's blocky fairing.

I agree, especially about the fairing. I prefer the Electra Glide fairing and the headlight turning with the handlebars.

This is the only HD that has caught my eye but still not in the budget. Not sure what is $30k more about the other over this.

Slight change of subject, not much Pan-Am talk anymore nor do I see them. Dead in the water now?
