Oh forgot to mention. County Road 180. They moved the old bridge the Historic area by downtown Anderson. I think it was the first iron bridge in Grimes County. The area is blowing up. When they start paving these dirt roads we loose all the fun and the land values quadruple
Well this is not a Texas bridge but one I sure miss riding to. I debated on if I should post it, and decided my nephew would have liked me to. The KTM belonged to my riding buddy, my nephew who we lost a few years ago to cancer. Really miss him and going riding. The V-Strom is one I rode to Alaska in 2004.
And this road to the bridge was a true DIRT road.
Another photo from a ride, my nephew we lost to cancer on the left, his brother, who lives in Montana on the right and me behind the camera. At that time we were all riding KTMs. We did about 350 miles of gravel and dirt on the day this photo was taken, it was awesome, it was one of the last rides we all got to go on.
