Riders on the Storm - TAR 2010

Milton, that house is on White Mtn Road I believe.

Great shot of the field of Bluebonnets and Cactus!

Thanks Jason. Actually, if you're talking about the pic taken on 335 between Hackberry Rd and Bull Head, those aren't bluebonnets. They are these purple flowers, that were much more prevalent. The picture is a merge job of two different shots.

If ghosts could talk, I'd love to hear the history behind this place...

Great fun, Glad everyone made it home OK, Lots of Great People !

That would be Calvin (multisurfacerider) and the other part of the big motley crew finishing up Kent Creek Rd.

And that was my part of the motley crew that was too hungry to do Kent Creek so we headed straight to lunch.

I was one of Rusty's group, anxious to get some of the great food at Mama Chloies.

I have discovered the problem with the stalling F800GS in the water crossings. My bike stalled almost immediately when I entered the water every time. Turns out there is a fuel carbon canister that vents below the canister to the ground. It allows for both draining and for sucking in air. The fix is to add a T-connector and route a 2nd line up high for bringing air in, while the original line remains for draining.

On KTM 690's, the solution to this problem is called canisterectimy. :lol2:
