still day 3, up to Cloudcroft and camped at Deerhead in Lincoln National Forest for $17 right outside town

I love Cloudcroft, smilled all the way up US 82 from Alamogordo
 
thats about it, Day 4 was back to Waco and avoiding any imperial entanglements

last year I did not get a trip in, so im gonna make time for at least one longer trip every year, under $100 for three nights lodging, averaged over 50 mpg
