I goofed on my first check. Changing that last letter from W to E makes a BIG difference :)

Signed up - and got room at BW
Me and friend (he is still deciding) are riding smaller bikes (Kawasaki KLX250)
Hope to meet up with few folks that are not fast - and like to enjoy scenery

I will be on a Honda 250. I am without a doubt and smell the roses kind of guy.

Registration for event ---- ☑
Vacation Scheduled ---- ☑
Reservations at Campground Across the River ---- ☑

Figured I would just make a week out of it, so I am going to stay at the campground until Monday. Relocate to a different campground in Fredericksburg Monday afternoon, and catch a couple of my other favorite routes during the week on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Then my wife is gonna come to Fredericksburg on Thursday night, so I have to play grown up for the rest of the next weekend.

Looking forward to November!!! :rider: :rider:

Simon has created an excellent design for TAR 2020!

Pre-register and get a free event t-shirt. If you wait and miss pre-registration you will have forever missed out on this very cool shirt.

it would be awesome if you could make some stickers and make them available or purchase at the event

Quote: Hey Dan, I am registered as well....can I get in with your group?

Heck yes. Just like old times. Hopefully my GPS will not poop out like last time. I sent it in and had it looked at. The cradle charger was gummed up. Looking forward to it.

Now I just have to learn how to load the track on my Zumo 550.
Not my strong point for sure.

I'll bring my laptop with basecamp on it as well and can install the route if you can't @dannyboy

Thank you so much everyone. I appreciate it.

Khunfuzion I will bring a lap top also and hopefully you can teach me how to load Basecamp and the file so I can do it in the future also.
Thank you

Hello I'm planning on attending this ride but it will be my first time in a group event like this and I need a few pointers on gear. The bike I got handled.

Hydration and nutrition, just a few emergency bottles and a couple energy bars or do I need to pack lunches and bring a gallon?

How necessary it GPS and is there a better brand? I know my cell phone screen is useless in the sun after 15 minutes or less so unless color screens work I'm thinking LCD.

Spare inner-tubes and tire irons and factory tools, anything else? I guess a compact air pump.

I got clothing, goggles, boots, etc. But sounds like sun block and lip balm may be a good idea. Anything else here?

Thanks for any advice, I don't want to be short handed.
