Thank you all for attending!
When we pulled into Bastrop State Park, we had 32 riders.
P1C is still a gorgeous serpentine road, even after the fire.
There were a few corners taken too hot on the gravel, and a new trail or two cut in the ditches.
It might have been a little dusty in the middle or back of the pack.
Thank you old_blue for riding sweep. I sure like seeing that 'thumbs up' as you pull up.
There were a couple flats, but the group got together to lend encouragement.
There was no way to lead 30+ riders around the trails, so AustinJake led a group of 13 or so around, a few minutes later I led a group around and I think that Rman brought the stragglers who were 'helping' change tubes a little later.
Log were hopped and rocks were thrown. People had fun and fell down. The depth of a few mudholes was tested, and as far as I know-
No one got seriously injured.
Heck, I didn't even fall down today!
I rolled 69.9 miles today.
I made it home at 1:50, just a few minutes early to let the lady know I care.
