I think T5005. I carry a map but haven't pulled it out of my backpack in years. I just roam and explore, and try to avoid the rain.
We rode two trails in May I've never ridden, and one in July I never rode all the way through.

Dang, I just popped on here and saw this. I was up there about a month before that and will be heading up around the Labor Day weekend with my KLX. My family has a place off of La Luz Canyon Road.

You just grab a paper map and go. It's all good, any route. I wouldn't go it alone though.
Thanks for the feedback. I’m going with a buddy and we’re actually found some locals to go riding with. However, if there’s any particular trails that stood out to you, please let me know the name of them and I’ll look them up.

Apple tree canyon, Alamo peak, Heart attack and of course the rim trail. Not klr trails. There are many others. Just depends on what level of abuse you prefer.
