Had this for a few years thinking I'd have another BRP. Not happening anytime soon so I'm selling my tank. Has both petcocks and brackets. These are over $400 new.

Anything else for the big XRR? I just got one a few weeks ago. Good luck with the sale!
 
I'll be in the Ennis area next Saturday if anyone in the Dallas/Fort Worth area is interested. And I work in the Woodlands if anyone is interested in the Houston area.
 
Great price! For those that fret about the visual size of these, I am adding black to some areas and it makes a big visual difference. Here I have placed black masking tape as a trial. I found a product that adheres to the plastic that can be painted.

That's a good idea. I've never had a problem with riding my XRR with this tank on. The extra capacity saved my butt a time or two.
 
If I didn't have one already I'd scoop this up. I also have a rare tail tank. Once I get it built out I'll dub it XRRValdez, since I'll have a capacity of 8.something gallons
 
mine became a fuel tanker for a guy on a ktm 300, who ran out 30 miles from civilization in the Sierras one day. Thank God he had a bottle of two stroke oil

Have you beefed up the sub frame for the extra weight? I've read that they can be weak but I do not know for a fact.
 
Not sure how the tank would affect the subframe. Maybe the aux tanks mounted in the rear you would need that?

subframe will be beefed up as its already a known weakspot. xrvaldez is low on the list of projects at the moment, but its slowly getting closer to the top of the list as the garage cools down.
 
Shame you still haven't sold it. If Honda made another BRP, I'd bet it would sell like hotcakes, especially with e-start. Imagine how good it would be with modern updates.
