I agree.... How about we post "The List", then start whacking at it? That gives us a baseline and objectives instead of talking about the different types of roads.

The title is "1-2-3 Farm To Market Roads in Sequential Order Game" So lets use Post #81 at the source.

Absolutely, let's do it. This was a fun game, and one that could take years to complete. I'd be willing to bet that this group could do it in a year or less, though. Let's get busy!
 
Last I checked, we had already gotten FM roads 1-9 (except 7 - ain't one)

FM 10 is in east Texas, FM11 is in west Texas... :doh:

Since there isn't an FM7, can we sub in TX7 to avoid a gap?
(Assuming substitutions will NOT apply unless the FM simply doesn't going forward)

I took this last year on my way home from CheapSTOC:

maybe we ought to start a new thread with references to this one. pull the signs over or just start completely afresh :shrug: just a thought

I vote to just skip the ones that don't exist so we don't muck up the water.
 
There are Ranch to Market and Farm to Market roads. Do they repeat numbers?

Yes, I believe they repeat. For instance, there is a FM1 and a RM1. I think this thread is limited to FMs, though this is not a limitation at all. There are 3530 FM roads in Texas! :eek2:

I really thought they were pretty much the same thing, just a different name. Could be quite wrong though. Haven't read all the info links
 
Yeah, I'm still confused by the whole thing, and now I'm not entirely sure my post above is accurate. :scratch:

Just to muddy the waters a little more, there's also PR (Park Roads) and RR (Recreational Roads). Let just stick to FMs - there's enough to keep us busy for a loooong time. ;)

EDIT: Don't know why my pictures are not there anymore, I believe I had FM1 & FM2 posted up originally.... I will figure it out and fix them.
