Cycle Gear tire changes

I have a tub of paste as well. I use the spray for de-mounting usually.

I guess I need to get some rim protectors...

I used to do the same with the spray but with the bent toothbrush I can still get in there once I pop the bead and lube it up. With that paste, pulling old tires off is like melted butter on a steamy baked potato. I don't think I'll ever go back to spray, but that might be just me.

I didn't say a darn thing about rim protectors.... LOL. I watched the video and just kept my little ol thoughts to myself. :lol2: That being said, that really is only about half of them. There is a pretty decent sized pile of them on the shelf.

And if I can give a tip on the HF machine, it would be to cut that piece of angle off of the bead breaker area and remove that front bolt. Mine has been that way almost since day one after I kept having that bead breaker slide down the tire and scratch the wheels. For the longest time after I cut that angle off and removed the bolt, I just had a grungy wash cloth over it to keep from scratching the wheels. Now that I have a 3d printer, I made a swanky little plastic piece that keeps the wheels away from anything that can scratch them.
